Solstice Biologics was developing drugs aimed at small, cell permeable RNAi pro-drugs. The company located in San Diego, California received several rounds of funding, but was never able to reach revenue generation and the research and development activity was discontinued. DSI Assignments, LLC was name as the Assignee for the Benefit of Creditors. In its capacity as Assignee, DSI Assignments worked to decontaminate the clean room and labs; worked with the FDA and California EPA on disposal of chemicals and controlled substances used in the Research and Development. Considerable time was spent working with the landlord and the sale of the intellectual property and a large amount of sophisticated and complex equipment and tools.
